Module of powder fire extinguishing
(MPE) is meant for suppression and localization of fires caused by inflammable solid and liquid materials as well as electrical equipment operating under load with the voltage up to 5000 V in production
areas, storage facilities, accommodation spaces and other types of rooms. MPE is a main element of automatic module powder-type fire extinguishing
plants.

Fire extinguisher
– powder module “FEPM-5” (pumping type) is meant for suppression of
classes A, B, C fires and electrical equipment (electric installation) under
load in office blocks, storage facilities, production and sales areas and
accommodation spaces as in hand as in automatic mode of operation without
participation of man. The rooms’ norm of being equipped is defined in
accordance with the requirements of PPB-01-93**. “FEPM-5” is fixed over
the most probable places of fire emergency: electrical and heating
appliances, cold stores, electric cabinets etc.
When in automatic mode
“FEPM-5” operates in the following way: at fire temperature influence on
the heat lock the latter is destroyed and the powder under the pressure of
the compressed gas flows out the body of the extinguisher on the heat source
and accomplishes local fire extinguishing in area and volume extent due to
its performance attributes.
